UK ATM R&D Steering Group

The Aerospace Innovation Growth Team (AeIGT) included ATM as a key component of the National Aerospace Technology Strategy (NATS). As such, it identified ATM as one of six themes for an Aerospace Technology Validation Programme (ATVP). Technology validation programmes are intended to address system level validation of technology demonstrators and thereby reduce risk prior to operational service.

From late 2007 the UK AMT ATVP became the UK ATM R&D Steering Group. A mission of the ATM KN is to coodinate and interact our activities with these high level groups - we currently forfill this role by attending meetings of these groups on behalf of our members.
